Rifftrax Movie Night Party

If you have never heard of Rifftrax, there is no better time than now to check them out.  It's basically a trio of comedians cracking wise on your favorite flicks!  They have Rifftrax Live in theaters, but my favorite way to enjoy their jokes is in the comfort of my own living room.  You can download their Riff player and the audio commentary for about $4.  Pop in your movie and enjoy!  We have had three Rifftrax movies night at our place:  Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark and (my fav) Wrath of Khan.  

For Harry Potter movie night we had Butterbeer, Rock Cakes (scones) and Chiddingly Hotpot (from the Unofficial Harry Potter Cookbook).  



Next up was Indiana Jones.  We set up a screen and projector outside while camping for this movie showing!  Complete with campfire!  I loved it, the hubs (who had to set it up) thought it was a bit too much work.  However, good times were had by all!  For this we had bratwurst, sauerkraut and s'mores!  


For the Wrath of Khan, we moved back into the house.  This was my favorite Rifftrax of them all.  We were laughing from credits to closing!  For our dinner we had Earl Grey Tea (hot!), Vulcan Death Dip (7 Layer Dip), Gagh, Chicken Satay and Wrath of Khan Cobbler (grain/gluten free peach cobbler).
